Fun comes first at the Oldenburg Kart Championship, which took place for the eighth time this year as the Northwest Cup 2019! And of course we were there again as Team erminas when our colleagues from Schmidt + Berner invited us! We ended up in the top ten of the first group!

There were 110 drivers in a total of 39 company teams when it was once again all about hot tires at the Kart-O-Drom in Rastede on Friday! Christoper, Hilmar and Sven competed for our team erminas.
It started with a qualifying session in which our team secured 13th place in the first group. Those who wanted to take a break from the loud engines of the racing karts had the opportunity to talk to our digitization expert Boris about retrofitting and industrial IoT solutions in the bistro – and refresh themselves with an orange juice from our retrofitting ShowCase erMINATOR.
After qualifying, things got serious and we started from 13th place. At the end of the race, our kart team secured 10th place! First place went to the teams “Bike2Business by Cycle Union” ahead of “Schmidt+Berner 1″ and the “Autohaus Horstmann” team.
We would like to thank the Schmidt + Berner team for the organization and the good food and are always happy to be there again!
