Frequently asked questions

Our experience has shown that there are questions before each of our projects. You probably already have a few questions floating around in your head. Maybe we can sort some of them out directly!

What is the procedure for an initial consultation?

In an initial consultation, we first try to find out what exactly you want to achieve with your project and which tools and information we can provide so you are able to achieve your goals.

So in the first step we try to understand your challenges in order to look for solutions.

In addition, the initial consultation is of course intended to get to know each other. After all, nobody buys a pig in a poke. Of course, we also want to convince you of our expertise and talk to you about how we implement your project and what we need for it.

What is the best way to prepare?

You don’t need to do much preparation. If you have reached the decision internally to bring an external service provider on board, you probably already have all the relevant information available.

Of course, we are always happy to have some basic information about the project to build on.

How long does a digitisation project take?

Unfortunately, we cannot give you a general answer to this question. Depending on the scope of the project, the actions that we carry out may also take a longer period of time.

Take a look at our customer projects. This will help you understand how long it takes to complete a project.

What about the erminas technology stack?

With our technology stack, you are able to get an impression of the erminas skillset. We will be happy to provide you with all the necessary information.

Coding languages: C#, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python

Frameworks: .NET, Angular

Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, CosmosDB, InfluxDB

Cloud-platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services

Hardware-Platforms: Kunbus RevolutionPi, Beckhoff CX5140

How quickly can a project be started?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide a general answer to this question. Let it be said, however, that we do not leave anyone hanging. When a project can be started depends primarily on the current workload and how extensive the project will be.

As soon as we can describe your project in more detail, we will be able to give you an estimate of when we can start the project.

When can I expect the first results?

Our teams work classically with the Scrum framework. In this way, we ensure a clearly defined work process based on agile principles.

So at the beginning, with our joint planning, we can tell you exactly when you can expect which features.

But sometimes things have to move faster during the project. That is not a problem either. For us, the focus is always on the needs of the individual. We talk to each other and find solutions and ways together.

What is the usual process of a project?

ermina’s software projects always follow the same sequence. We follow this procedure in order to be able to guarantee a long-term and successful customer relationship.

We usually start a project with a scoping workshop. We use this workshop to better understand the client’s challenges.

We then create a proof of concept to ensure that the solution is generally feasible.

In the project realisation phase, we set about implementing the complete solution using Scrum.

After the realisation follows the Go Live. The joint project sees the light of day and is introduced to the market by our customer.

During the maintenance phase, we operate the solution for you and ensure that everything runs as agreed.

If necessary, a handover of the project will take place if you would like to take over the solution developed by us into your administration and further development.
