Save the Date: From 26-28 November 2019, the leading international trade fair for intelligent digitization and automation SPS smart production solutions will take place for the 30th time. Around 1,650 suppliers from all relevant areas of smart automation are expected in Nuremberg this year.
Visitors will have the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with dedicated and experienced digitization teams, highly specialized component manufacturers and experts from all specialist areas. The exciting, informative and entertaining supporting program will also give them the opportunity to network and further their education.

At booth 228 in hall 5, directly accessible from NCC Ost, we will be demonstrating the capabilities of the Revolution Pi live: The soft PLC from Kunbus is the swiss army knife of industrial data processing. In our showcase, the Revolution Pi accesses data from sensors and bus systems, pre-processes it and sends it securely to the Azure Cloud via OPC UA.
There, the data is pre-selected for analysis with Stream Analytics and made available as a dashboard with Microsoft Power BI: Can be used from anywhere with any end device.
We vividly demonstrate how a single Revolution Pi synchronously performs the tasks of PLC, BUS gateway, edge device, IoT/OPC-UA gateway and industrial PC/terminal.
An outstanding advantage of the Revolution Pi over other Linux-based soft PLCs are the communication modules. The Revolution Pi has gateways for all bus systems commonly used in the industry. RevPi manufacturer Kunbus is known as the German specialist for bus communication. Kunbus also produces for well-known manufacturers of safety-related industrial components. This underlines the first-class quality of the hardware.
