The erminas team looks back on a good, sporty, eventful year. We review it for you and give you a little insight into our work behind the scenes.
Two research trips
Digital transformation also means discovering and developing new opportunities in new places. In 2019, we have therefore set out on our journey. With the SuMoCoS project (Sustainability and Mobility in the Context of Smart Cities) of Oldenburg’s Carl von Ossietzky University, we visited Ulaanbataar in Mongolia and, as tech enablers, provided information about sustainable opportunities for digitization.
We also visited Tashkent in Uzbekistan with representatives from transport research of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) among others, and followed exciting developments, gained insights into digital infrastructure and provided inspiration for future projects.
Come together

When smart people get together to discuss trends, opportunities and solutions for Industry 4.0, smart factories, digital processes and ideas for digital business models, we like to be there and discuss. We attended and presented at two trade fairs with our partner Kunbus and hosted quite a few meet ups, hackathons and tech roundtables in 2019. And at our Girls’ Day, we once again turned ordinary girls into enthusiastic geek girls.
Game, sport, excitement, relaxation
Work-life balance is important to us: Team erminas is there when it comes to sports, fun, excitement and relaxation! We took part in the Oldenburg Marathon and the Friesencross, scored points in the Kart Nordwest Cup, bouldered on the side and relaxed weekly with yoga right next to our IIoT workshop.

Our new junior developer

Since it is unfortunately still not easy to find female developers, our colleague Lena has now unceremoniously provided for her own offspring: Our youngest beta tester saw the light of day in March 2019. Welcome, dear Jule!
Symbolic situation 😉
New Member of the Pack
Another new team member joined our pack this year: Since October, Labrador girl Brandy warms Jonas’ feet when he works in the home office. Koppar, Kathy and Rey, as well as cat Loki and especially budgies Tweety and Mabu are also happy about the many home office hours of the erminas team. Sonja’s Wellis like to discuss loudly at our morning video meetings!
Here’s to a smart 2020!
The digitalization team of erminas wishes all customers and partners a great, successful, smart year 2020! Because smart solutions are simply the better ones!
Spoiler: These fireworks are made from drones. Silent and fine dust-free, thanks to digitalization!
